On October 26-29 an annual meeting of the Society for History of Technology took place in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, USA). During the meeting Assoc. Prof. Andrei Stsiapanau of the European Humanities University Academic Department of Social Sciences has presented the outcomes of his research about the nuclear waste management in Russia.
On October 21-26, in the Hague (Netherlands) Assoc. Prof. Maxim Timofeev of the European Humanities University Academic Department of Social Sciences participated in the working group meeting on the design of distance learning courses, held by the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative.

European Humanities University (EHU) in Vilnius hosts the roundtable “Academy at Risk: Challenges of the 21st Century”. Among the participants is one of the world’s leading experts in higher education, the President of the American Academy of Sciences and Arts Dr Jonathan Fanton.
Iryna Ramanava, a Belarusian scholar researching the history of 20 century, professor at the European Humanities University in Vilnius and the University of Giessen in Germany, is unable to work in her home country today because of the subject of her historical research: Stalinism, totalitarianism, and their interpretation in today’s world.
On April 15, the annual educational workshop “Day with the European Humanities University (EHU)” was held in Minsk. Workshop’s agenda attracted almost a hundred of junior and senior high school students from all over Belarus. J. Rau International Education Center, where the event took place, was also attended by prospective students’ parents, who learned about the opportunities, provided by EHU to the university students.
An exhibition entitled Belonging opened at the European Humanities University on March 17, 2023 with works from the workshop with American artists and educator Zoë Charlton.
