The European Humanities University (EHU) recently concluded a groundbreaking international scientific and practical conference titled “The Right to Strike, Protection against Harassment and Freedom of Association: Public and Scientific Challenges in a Global and Local Perspective.” Held on November 20, the conference brought together distinguished academics, human rights advocates, legal experts, and activists to explore critical issues surrounding workers’ rights, harassment protection, and freedom of association.
At the European Humanities University, the annual competition for the Professor Vladimir Furs Scholarship has been held. The recipient of this scholarship for the academic year 2023-2024 is Maria Borzenko, a student of the MA Program “Gender Studies”.
In June-July 2023, based on the “Memorandum on mutual understanding, cultural, educational and scientific cooperation between the College of William and Mary (Virginia, USA) and the European Humanities University” on the basis of the Academic Department of Humanities and Arts, 20 American students will be taught the Russian language.
