Project Management Office

Project Management Office (PMO) of the European Humanities University Functions of PMO

  1. PMO is a core administrative unit of the European Humanities University and, following the institutional structure, is classified as an administrative unit.
  2. General objective of the PMO is to promote and to coordinate implementation of institutional strategic goals, associated with the development of the activities of the University in the fields of Studies, Research, Development and innovations and Third mission activities.
  3. PMO concentrates, combines, supports and coordinates functions of administrative specialists from different units of the University, including departments and the academic staff members who implement projects, for the purpose of more synergic and efficient managemental processes.
  4. Practical field of action is a centralized coordination of following activities:
    • In the cooperation with the academic departments and administrative units – monitoring and management of the implementation of Annual Work Plans and goals of other associated strategic documents;
    • In cooperation with the Finance and HR Unit – works on the preparation projects applications as well as on the preparation of the University and other academic units activity reports (annual activity reports, project activity reports, etc.), preparation of other specialized reports and materials, following the requirements;
    • In cooperation with the Rector and to the Chancellor of the EHU – communication with the CPMA and other strategic institutions;
    • In cooperation with the academic departments – supporting, monitoring and assurance of the development of the Research (Art) potential and quality of the EHU;
    • In cooperation with the academic departments – management of the EHU publishing policies;
    • In cooperation with the academic departments and associated administrative units – supporting, monitoring of faculty academic work effectiveness and level of professional competences;
    • In cooperation with the academic departments and associated administrative units – promotion of the gradual qualitative inclusion of the EHU into the Open Society University Network;
    • In cooperation with the academic departments, academic units and research centres of the EHU – coordination and monitoring of the development and implementation of Third mission activities at the EHU;
    • Coordination and preparation of Annual Activity and other institutional activity reports;
    • Coordination and / or preparation of external support project applications initiated: 1) at the level of the university, 2) at the level of the academic departments, 3) by individual faculty members, 4) by academic units.
    • Preparing of provisions on associated methodological support.
    • Supporting and monitoring of quality in the field of project activity;
    • Provision of consultations and coordination, associated with the institutional and individual activity planning / reporting;
    • Provision of support and methodological assistance in the fields of research (art) activity, projects, research (art) popularization, dissemination and valorisation at the level of the academic departments.
