EHU encourages scholarly research in the humanities and social sciences and supports the research activities of its faculty and students by maintaining several research centers, laboratories, and institutes. EHU offers scholars from Belarus opportunities to pursue research without the ideological restrictions imposed by authorities in their homeland.
The goal of each research center at EHU is not only to promote research and artistic activity but also to serve as a focal point for networking among scholars. EHU’s research centers focus on a diversity of subjects in the humanities, social sciences and arts, ranging from critical urbanism and contemporary art to legal and historical research.
