On December 10, Human Rights Day, the European Humanities University (EHU) invites students, faculty, and staff for a meeting with Guillermo Fariñas, Cuba’s leading human rights defender, independent journalist and political dissident, winner of the 2010 Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought.
Mr. Fariñas will be accompanied by the signatory of the Act of the Re-Establishment of the State of Lithuania and former member of the European Parliament Dr. Laima Liucija Andrikienė and Omar Lopez, Human Right Director at the Cuban American National Foundation.

From November 11 to December 11, the European Humanities University will host an Inclusion Month “On-campus Inclusion: Gender, Cultural Diversity, ‘Language of Hate’ Prevention across Communities”. Within the framework of the thematic month, EHU will organize various lectures by invited speakers and lecturers of the University, excursions, exhibitions, student activities dedicated to the topics of inclusion, gender and cultural diversity.
