Meeting “Ales Bialiatski – Fighter for Freedom”

Dear all,

We invite you kindly to the Meeting “Ales Bialiatski – Fighter for Freedom” on March 30th, 5:00 p.m. (aud. 110, Savičiaus str. 17, Vilnius, European Humanities University).

The meeting is dedicated to the Belarusian Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 2022 and is organized by the Center for Belarus and Regional Studies and the Center for Constitutionalism and Human Rights of the European Humanities University.

The event will be led into the activities of the Belarusian public figure, human rights activist, and 2022 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ales Bialiatski. During the meeting, we will have a chance to meet the wife of the Nobel laureate – Natalia Pinchuk.

There will be a video presentation of Ales Bialiatski’s speech before his arrest, as well as a reading of his works, and speeches of friends and like-minded people.

Natalia Pinchuk graduated from Gomel University as a teacher of history. She taught at the Belarusian Humanitarian Lyceum and the Belarusian Academy of Arts. Author of articles about Belarusian jewelry art of the Middle Ages, a book about jewelry art of Belarus, as well as a textbook on the history of Belarus for foreign students.
