Event EHU Graduation Ceremony 2021

The Graduation Ceremony of the European Humanities University Class 2021 will take place on July 2, at 1 PM in the Grand yard of the University Campus. It is expected that 116 graduates will receive Bachelor’s and Master’s diplomas in 2021.

Event EHU Hosts Seminar: Unraveling the Historical Context of the Former Lands of Rzeczpospolita within the Russian Empire

The Center for Belarus and Regional Studies at the European Humanities University in cooperation with the Humanities Faculty of Ukrainian Catholic University will hold a research seminar “The Former Lands of Rzeczpospolita as a Part of the Russian Empire: Rethinking Structures of Dependence, Mechanisms of Integration, and Options of Resistance”. The seminar is organized with the support of the Open Society University Network (OSUN).

On November 3-4 the European Humanities University (EHU) will host the international workshop on game studies for the first time. This year, the main topic is “Games & Gender”, one of the hottest and most important ones in contemporary cultural studies. It will be discussed in presentations given by speakers from Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Italy, and Lithuania.

Event EHU invites everyone to join the “WikiGap Challenge” campaign

The Center for Gender Studies at the European Humanities University (EHU) invites students, employees, and everyone interested to take part in the global campaign “WikiGap Challenge”. The campaign will run from March 8 to April 8, 2021. It will be focused on the reduction of the gender gap in the articles in the world’s largest virtual encyclopedia – Wikipedia.

Event EHU invites to an interdisciplinary conference “The Revolutionary Imaginary:
 Visual Culture in an Age of Political Turbulences”

On November 30 – December 1, 2017 an international conference  Revolutionary Imaginary: Visual Culture in an Age of Political Turbulences will be held at the National Art Gallery in Vilnius. The conference is organized jointly by the Laboratory of Studies of Visual Culture and Contemporary Art at the European Humanities University (Lithuania), National Art Gallery (Lithuania), Visual Culture in Europe Network and Goethe Institut in Lithuania.

Event EHU Invites to Cooperate with the OSUN Science Shop

On December 1, the European Humanities University (EHU) will host an open seminar of the OSUN Science Shop program. The program, successfully launched in 2021/2022 in partnership with Central European University (CEU, Vienna), aims to strengthen cooperation between the academy and civil society organizations. The seminar will be held in a hybrid format, the working languages of the meeting are English and Russian. The purpose of the seminar is to familiarize participants with the results of the program implemented in 2021/2022, as well as with new opportunities for 2022/2023.
