About the Program:

Join the LL.M. Program in International Business and Trade Law to enhance your career and become a highly skilled legal professional in the global legal landscape. Successful completion of the program allows graduates to work in Lithuania* and the European Union*.

Holders of LLM diploma will be able to tackle the challenges of an interconnected world economy by gaining applied expertise to navigate complex transnational transactions, pivotal in today’s legal and business environments.

The program designed for busy professionals with individual flexible study plans, such as online modules, evening classes, and continuous support from our academic advisors.

The curriculum includes core courses such as Company Law and Corporate Governance, International Commercial Arbitration, International Intellectual Property Law, International Financial Law, and International Commercial Contracts, among others.

Admission Entry

Academic requirements:

The LL.M. International Business and Trade Law program considers applicants who meet at least one of the following criteria.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law;
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in other fields with additional university-level education in Law equivalent to 60 ECTS credits;
  • Bachelor’s and master’s degree in other fields with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a legal field related to the program. Additional completion of at least 15 ECTS credits in legal disciplines is required;
  • Holders of vocational degree in Law and pursued additional university-level education in Law, accumulating at least 60 ECTS credits.

* The legal experience of the applicant is evaluated as per the university’s regulations.

* Applicants without a bachelor’s degree in the specified field may need to undergo additional training according to an individual plan.

English requirements:

  • CEFR level B2; or IELTS 5.5 (no less than 5.0 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 72; or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, evidence you have previously studied in English can be accepted.
  • We also offer an internal English test for applicants who are unable to provide an English Proficiency letter.
