In addition to that, the progress of the implementation of EHU’s Action Plan 2021-2026 was considered, along with the ongoing matters such as the establishment of additional campuses of EHU. Delegation engaged in a productive session with EHU academic staff: the discussions centered around civic initiatives, research efforts, and the challenges faced in an evolving region landscape. The exchange of ideas underscored the importance of SIDA’s support in empowering faculty members and advancing educational programs that contribute to social development.

The visit concluded with a vibrant and dynamic meeting with a large group of EHU students. This session served as a platform for an open exchange of ideas, personal experiences, and perspectives on education, civic responsibility and career opportunities. SIDA’s visit reaffirmed the strong and enduring partnership between the agency and EHU.
