The agenda of the meeting was dedicated to “Perspectives on Sustainability.” Natallia has a long-term working and volunteering experience in the Nature Protection sphere, at EHU she has been supporting the student’s initiative to promoting “Ecofriendly lifestyle.” On the International Staff week “Perspectives on Sustainability” at FH Münster Natallia took part in the in-depth discussion of ideas and approaches with which higher education institutions worldwide can contribute to a reduction in resource consumption.
The agenda included various workshops, lectures, and visits. Among others presentation of the recently adopted climate protection concept by the German higher education institution. Inspiring examples and insights into sustainable projects made the added value of this course as well as for Natallia and the University. “I am convinced that the cooperative agreements with international partners in the higher education contest contribute great ideas to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Currently, at EHU we are only making first steps in creating guides on sustainability as well as rules of green University. I am very interested in the possibility of creating and implementing specific actions to make the University more sustainable and looking forward to sharing the experience and new ideas with my colleagues,” summarises Natallia Sarakavik.
