This year, EHU celebrates its 33rd anniversary since its founding, and the university is marking this milestone with several new programs and major expansion plans. The most significant change is the opening of the new campus in Vilnius — modern, equipped with the latest technology, lounge areas, coworking spaces, and cozy kitchens for students.
On April 26, everyone is invited to visit the new EHU building in Vilnius on Savanorių Avenue, where the main speakers will be the students themselves. They will share with prospective students what it’s like to study at a fast-developing European university that stays ahead of technological progress while maintaining European values and a focus on human potential.
The combination of humanities knowledge and the latest technologies and solutions across various fields makes EHU a “Laboratory of Innovations” that prepares students for the future. Open Day visitors will experience firsthand how the interdisciplinary Liberal Arts approach works in higher education — for example, they will be able to explore projects for the gaming industry developed collaboratively by students from different fields.
Guests of the Open Day will be able to learn about the nine bachelor’s, five master’s, and one doctoral program offered by EHU for the 2025/2026 academic year. But that’s not all — several new, unique undergraduate and graduate programs are on the way, covering the most progressive and practical fields, such as game development, modern media production, and urban studies.
Students will personally share their experiences of life at the university, how to create a student project and secure funding for it, how to make life in Vilnius as comfortable and convenient as possible, how to balance study and work, and what international mobility opportunities the university offers.
Guests will also learn about the financial conditions, grants, and scholarships that make studying in the heart of Europe easy and affordable. All details of the admission process, visa support, and legalization in Lithuania will be covered.
The EHU Open Day on April 26 will take place in a hybrid format — offline at the new campus and online. Guests who join online will be able to watch a detailed report from the new campus and get answers to their questions from professors, program coordinators, the Academic Support Center, and the Student and International Mobility Office.
Guests will also be given a tour of the new campus, where EHU already occupies several floors — and the university will significantly expand in the upcoming academic year.
And of course, the organizers will ensure that prospective students and Open Day guests experience the coziest and most delicious moments of student life.
