The participants of the event will be greeted by the Rector Prof. Sergei Ignatov, as well as guests of honor of the Ceremony: MFA Counsellor Darius Vitkauskas, Eastern Neighbourhood Policy Department; Aliaksandr Chakhouski, Belarusian Council for Culture and EHU Professor Emeritus Ryhor Miniankou.
In addition, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Government of Lithuania, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of EHU partner organizations are expected to attend the Ceremony.
Important! Following guidelines of preventing the spread of Covid-19, only those participants who have an Opportunity passport, a PCR test or a medical certificate of recovery from Covid-19 will be able to attend the Ceremony.

After the end of the official part of the Ceremony (approximately at 1.30 PM – 2 PM), the celebration will continue in Auditorium 110, where all EHU students, faculty members and staff members are invited to drink tea with a piece of cake and talk to each other in a friendly atmosphere.
