Dzmitry Huletski is a graduate of the EHU Master’s Degree program, a famous numismatist, sphragistics, heraldic, and Belarusian researcher of material culture.
The book is a catalog of the first Lithuanian coins minted in the last third of the 14th century on behalf of Algirdas, Kęstutis, Jogaila and also anonymously. The author’s first book on this subject was published in 2014. The present publication is the first to systematize the known material at the level of the stamps used for coinage. It traces the history of weight changes and the relationship to other currencies of the time. The materials for the publication were provided by some of the larger Lithuanian museums – the National Museum of Lithuania, the Money Museum of the Bank of Lithuania, the M. K. Čiurlionis National Art Museum in Kaunas, as well as various collectors.
