EHU students, we cordially invite you to attend the gender equality workshop, “Shaping Attitudes Toward Gender Equality: When a Billion Reasons May Not Work,” organized by the Department of Social Sciences at EHU.

In this workshop, we will look at situations where gender equality may not be supported and try to understand what factors influence these contexts and how they affect careers, relationships, and society.

Should men and women get equal salary for the same work? Who is better qualified to be political leaders? Who should stay out of politics? What young people think about this, what research shows, find out at the workshop.

The workshop will be conducted in English, but if you are not confident in your English, don’t worry, just register and come.

The number of places is limited.

Each participant will receive an online certificate of participation.

The speaker of the workshop is Lina Pareigienė, national coordinator of the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study (IEA ICCS), specialist of the Achievement Research Department of the National Agency for Education (Lithuania).
