About the program

Cultural heritage isn’t just about ancient monuments or folklore — heritage is about the meanings we create today. How can we reveal the full potential of cultural heritage and engage with it in a truly contemporary way? Why do we need this new knowledge, and how can it be practically applied to address social, political, economic, and environmental challenges?

If these questions resonate with you, our Master’s program is the right place to explore them. Here you’ll join a community of like-minded peers, renowned international researchers, and experts, supported by an extensive network of academic and institutional partners.

Our program functions as a dynamic laboratory for research and projects. Museums, architecture, traditions, memory and identity conflicts, newly recognized cultural values — all intersect here with contemporary art, digital transformations, social technologies, and even issues of war and peace. Each student brings their own unique focus, and together we find ways to deeply understand and effectively address these issues. Alongside research, students develop and implement their own practical projects.
