As announced earlier, candidates’ applications for the positions of the Head of the Academic Department of Humanities and Arts and the Head of the Academic Department of Social Sciences are accepted till May 22 at 1 pm (Vilnius time) at jobs @ ehu.lt.
The application should include:
- Curriculum Vitae, a list of academic publications and achievements during the last 5 years;
- Official transcript(s) of the highest degree(s) received;
- A proposal/vision for the Department’s development (one page).
Candidates will be interviewed by the EHU Selection Committee, which will be composed of EHU leadership, representatives from faculty, an external academic representative and – as observer – a student representative.
Specified timeline of the Search process:
- List of candidates: May 22
- Interviews by EHU Selection Committee: June 1
- Final decision of the Rector: June 2
- Probation period of 3 months
- Expected commencement: June 5
On April 27 EHU Governing Board announced the reorganization of the University structure. According to the renewed structure, Academic Departments, Center for German Studies, Core Curriculum Center and Mediahub will be merged into the Academic Department of Social Sciences and the Academic Department of Humanities and Arts.
