High school seniors and juniors acquainted with new and updated Bachelor programs “Visual Design”, “European Heritage”, “Media and Communication”, “World Politics and Economics”, “International Law and Law of the European Union”, which EHU offers to school and college graduates for admissions in 2019. Participants of the exhibition of study programs learned firsthand about the benefits of liberal education provided by EHU from faculty and students.
During the Open Doors, a workshop “I’m (not) from Humanities” was held, where prospective students could rethink of the essential questions of Humanities and feel as students of EHU.
During the meeting with the management of the University, high school students and their relatives learned the latest information on the strategic directions of development of EHU and were able to ask questions about the admission process, curriculum, exchange programs and life in Vilnius.
“In 2019, EHU is admitting for updated and completely new study programs. When updating study programs, we tried to estimate what kind of education would be relevant not only after 4 years, but also after decades, and to make the programs as focused on the professional and personal development of students as possible,” said Rector Prof. Sergei Ignatov.
At the end of the event, prospective students were able to pass the essay, design and English exams.
