Prof. Almira Ousmanova participated in the Erasmus Teaching Program at the University of Bologna

On March 28-30, Professor of the Academic department of Social Sciences Almira Ousmanova visited the University of Bologna in the framework of the Erasmus teaching mobility program. During her visit she delivered three lectures for MA and Ph.D. students of the Department of  Languages, Literatures and Modern Cultures.

  • March 28 – Love as a Class Feeling: the Debates on Love and Sexuality in Post-revolutionary Russia in the early 1920s;
  • March 29 – Back to “1984”: How and Why G. Orwell’s text became a reference book for Belarusians in 2020-2022;
  • March 30 – Representing the Unspeakable: the women’s war testimonies as the history of feelings in Svetlana Alexievich’s prose.
