Katariná Mathernová Discussed the Further Development of the University with EHU Faculty Members and Students

On July 6, European Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Deputy Director-General Katariná Mathernová visited the European Humanities University (EHU) and talked with the leadership, faculty members and students of the University.

From the side of the University community, the meeting was attended by Rector Prof. Sergei Ignatov, Chairperson of the Senate Prof. Aliaksandr Puptsau, Head of the Student Service Unit Anastasiya Radzionava, Head of the Communication and Development Unit Maksimas Milta, Heads and faculty members of the Department of Social Sciences and the Department of Humanities and Arts, as well as students and graduates of EHU Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.

Participants of the meeting discussed the development of the University and the further expansion of its activities, scientific and academic potential and new study programs that will be launched at EHU soon, and also raised issues of interaction with the civil society of Belarus.

Students and alumni who took part in the meeting shared their experience of studying at the University and talked about the opportunities provided by EHU, including participation in international exchange programs, various social projects, etc.

Rector Prof. Sergei Ignatov expressed gratitude to Ms. Katariná Mathernová and the European Union for the support provided to the University and its community.
