With the support of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, scholarships were awarded to 34 socially vulnerable students (from the 58 applications received), selected in accordance with the criteria set by the donor. This year, for the first time in the scholarship’s history, thanks to the efforts of the University’s leadership, students from the university’s branches – 4 students from the School of Digital Competence (SDC) and 2 students from the School of Business Economics (BISEB) – have been included in the group of scholarship recipients. The measures aim to reduce barriers to academic opportunities and foster an environment in which all students, regardless of background, can pursue their studies with dignity and confidence.
EHU Rector Dr. Vilius Šadauskas expresses his gratitude to the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Estonian Embassy in Lithuania for their long-term partnership and ongoing support for students, for whom this scholarship is an especially significant help in continuing their studies.
