EHU visited Germany via the Summer Term Student Exchange “Students for the Future of Security and Cooperation in Europe” organized by KAS

Last week, the exchange between Belarusian and German students of the European Humanities University (EHU) and the University of Giessen (JLU) in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung continued with the excursion to Berlin.

In 3 days, students were able to visit the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Bundestag and communicate with German politicians, academics and other students.

It was a great experience to get acquainted with how and by whom political decisions are made. A number of issues related to the European region, which were raised during meetings with decision makers, once again emphasize the urgent need to act and find solutions.

At the end of the program, policy briefs developed by groups of students from EHU and the University of Giessen (JLU) will be presented, covering such complex issues of our time as: Russian aggression in Ukraine, migration, feminism,  cybersecurity, environmental protection.
