We are honored to convey heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the European Humanities University in response to the support and cooperation extended to us by Salidarnast e.V. and the Danish Federation of Trade Unions.
The commitment and dedication of Salidarnast e.V., a non-profit humanitarian organization founded in exile, have played a pivotal role in addressing the challenges faced by a group of newly enrolled students from Belarus. These individuals, who are not just students but also leaders, members, and activists of democratic trade unions, have faced repression from the Belarusian authorities due to their unwavering commitment to trade union activities.
Salidarnast e.V., in partnership with the Danish Federation of Trade Unions, is extending invaluable financial support to these students, to cover their annual tuition fees, and we deeply appreciate their collaborative efforts. Moreover, it’s worth noting that 9 students from Belarus have been supported by this initiative. The collective effort to support the students from Belarus is a shining example of solidarity and commitment to human rights that resonates with the core values of our university community. By standing together, we are making a positive impact on the lives of those who have dedicated themselves to the cause of democratic trade unions.
