The purpose of the visit was to exchange best practices of media management and education quality management.
The EHU staff members got acquainted with the structure of Istanbul Ticaret University, the local specifics of the educational process, and the distinctive features of Turkish legislation in the field of education.
The EHU staff members learned how the system of quality control and assessment of education functions and how marketing communications are conducted in educational institutions in Turkey, based on the example of Istanbul Ticaret University.
The EHU staff members studied such aspects of educational activities as document management, the procedure for obtaining and prolonging accreditation, surveys of students, faculty, and staff, information support for the admission campaign, promotion of the university brand, and increasing its visibility, etc.
The program of the visit was informative and intense. On the first day of the visit, Mr. Cevher Aslan, a representative of the host country, Specialist in Exchange Programmes gave a tour of the campus of Istanbul Ticaret University for the guests from EHU. During the following days, Inesa Utovkienė and Tengiz Adamiya had a series of conversations with representatives of the relevant departments of Istanbul Ticaret University, responsible for marketing, communication, and education quality management. During the consultations, the staff of the partner universities exchanged experiences and best practices.
