2. Support from the Belarusian democratic community: EHU’s collaboration with BEROC is bolstered by strong support from Belarusian non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The opinions and insights of Belarusian NGOs were actively sought before the commencement of the EHU-BEROC partnership.
3. Alignment with EHU’s Mission: European Humanities University is committed to promoting civil society development in Belarus and the wider region through humanities and liberal arts education. The creation of the Economics and Business program aligns seamlessly with EHU’s mission by offering Belarusian students access to modern and independent economic and business education.
4. High-Quality Program: The Economics and Business program has been meticulously designed to offer education that meets rigorous European standards. It leverages the expertise of IPM Business School, the research prowess of BEROC, and EHU’s strengths in social sciences and humanities to deliver a comprehensive and effective curriculum.
This initiative draws on the collective strengths of these institutions, with each contributing to the program’s quality. IPM Business School brings extensive experience in business education. BEROC, as a leading Belarusian economic think-tank, ensures the program’s academic rigor and international connectivity. EHU’s rich academic capacities in social sciences and humanities, coupled with its experience in educating Belarusian students, form the bedrock for the new Economics and Business program.
The overarching goal of this initiative is to establish a modern and independent economic and business education system for Belarusians. Furthermore, it enhances EHU’s educational and research capabilities while working towards preserving and strengthening Belarusian human capital.
European Humanities University remains steadfast in its commitment to transparency, academic excellence, and the advancement of civil society in Belarus and the broader region. We extend an open invitation for constructive dialogue and engagement with all stakeholders to ensure the success of this vital initiative.
