🎉 EHU Joins the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts

On May 27, 2025, the Rector of the European Humanities University (EHU), Dr. Vilius Šadauskas, participated in the 100th Anniversary General Assembly of the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, held at the historic Sapieha Palace in Vilnius.

This celebration marked a century since the adoption of the Law on Chambers of Commerce and Industry by the Lithuanian Parliament in 1925—a milestone that laid the foundation for business advocacy and economic development in Lithuania. The event brought together leading figures from Lithuanian business, education, and government to reflect on the past and chart the course for future cooperation.

🤝 EHU proudly announces its return to active membership in the Chamber, reaffirming its commitment to meaningful partnerships with the business sector and public institutions.

🎓 As an international university based in Vilnius, EHU is uniquely positioned to contribute to Lithuania’s economic growth by educating socially responsible professionals and fostering civic-minded entrepreneurship across the region.

Rector Dr. Vilius Šadauskas remarked:

“EHU is ready to take on a more proactive role in supporting the development of socially responsible business in Lithuania. We see this as both our mission and our way of expressing gratitude to the Republic of Lithuania for hosting and supporting our university. Together, we can contribute to creating added value for the economy and strengthening the fabric of democratic society.”

The University looks forward to new initiatives with the Chamber and its members, working together at the intersection of education, innovation, and social impact.
