The visit facilitated high-level discussions with the university’s Rector Dr. Vilius Šadauskas, academic leadership – Head of Academic Department of Social Sciences Dr. Ingrida Danieliene, Head of Center for Belarus and Regional Studies Dr. Iryna Ramanava, and students, focusing on strategic academic and institutional topics.

The dialogue encompassed a wide range of important issues, including regional dynamics, EHU’s distinctive humanities-based education model, commitment to critical thinking, and vital role in providing young Belarusians with access to a European level education. The meeting highlighted the university’s role as a platform for academic dialogue, reaffirming its commitment to intellectual exchange, institutional resilience, and support for scholars at risk.

Students actively participated, sharing academic experiences and perspectives on their career path, highlighting EHU’s role in expanding professional horizons, providing international opportunities, and assisting in overcoming personal challenges.
