The community of reformers, which initiated the conference, proposed a set of measures to overcome the crisis that has developed in connection with the actual and legal termination of the Student Representative Authority.
A quorum of delegates representing student groups was reached at the conference. Delegates supported the initiatives of the Reform Community (28 delegates voted “for”, 3 delegates abstained):
- to endow Students’ Union EHU with the status of acting Student Representative Authority;
- to register it and approve the final version of the SU Charter;
- to organize the election of new authorized representatives of students to the Senate of EHU.
SU has assumed the duties of a student representative body and is already actively implementing a variety of academic, research, and creative projects and initiatives.
