Webinar “Player identity and gender – who is possible online?”

On June 1, the Department of Social Sciences of  the European Humanities University invites prospective students, students and everyone interested to the webinar “Player identity and gender – who is possible online?”

During the webinar, Matilda Ståhl will give a presentation of her research and what implications the results have on diversity online. What identities are possible, and thereby, who is possible online. The webinar will be useful to anyone interested in video games, e-sports, gender studies.

Speakers of the webinar:

  • Matilda Ståhl – doctoral student in educational sciences at Åbo Akademi University, Finland;
  • Alesha Serada – Ph.D. student at the University of Vaasa. A graduate of EHU;
  • Viktoriya Kanstantsiuk – lecturer of the EHU Bachelor program “Media and Communication”.
