Student-assistants are needed to co-organize the DAAD Summer School “Platformization of Politics in Non-Democracies: Belarus in the 2020s in Comparative Perspective” (EHU, August 7-18). The Summer School is an international course about the impact of digital platforms on politics. It brings together a diverse group of students and faculty from Universities in Germany, in other European countries, as well as in the other world regions. Expected student-assistants’ workload is 2-3 hours per week in period from July 10 to August 6; as well as 8 hours per day in period of August 7-18. Honoraria are envisioned to pay student-assistants’ work.
Student-assistants tasks:
- co-creation of the Summer School program
- online communication with participants prior to the Summer School
- co-creation of the information package about EHU and Vilnius for the Summer School participants
- co-organization of cultural program for Summer School participants for the evenings and for the weekend of August 12-13
- organization of coffee breaks / snacks for the duration of the Summer School
- photo documentation of the Summer School
Requirements to student-assistants:
- interest in the Summer School theme
- fluency in English
- ability to plan
- ability and will to work in international environment
- readiness to work from 9:00 to 17:00 on August 7-18
