The fair will present the best Lithuanian and international achievements in the field of technological and methodological means for heritage restoration, as well as successful examples of the inclusion of local communities and civil society in the issues of monuments management and restoration. A separate important topic of the fair is the development of heritage education. Full agenda is available online.
On May 3, at 13.30 in the EHU Senate Hall (Room 221) an international round table “Future of Heritage” will be held, which is organized by the Department of Humanities and Arts of the EHU. Participants from EHU, Jagiellonian University, Herzen University will discuss the experience of designing and implementing specialized educational programs in the field of heritage.
In addition, EHU Bachelor students will act as guides of the complex of the former Augustinian Monastery, which is restored by Lithuanian restorers specifically for the needs of EHU.
Entrance to the “Heritas 2019” fair is free. The program is available online.
EHU students, faculty and staff are invited to join excursions, which will be conducted by the students of the EHU undergraduate program “European Heritage”.
