Additional financial support to individuals with fewer opportunities

Additional financial support may be provided to individuals with fewer opportunities, officially designated as belonging to the most vulnerable groups in society. This additional financial support is added to the mobility grant and is calculated according to fixed rates:

  • For long-term mobility – 250 euros per month;
  • For short-term mobility – 100 euros (for mobility lasting from 5 to 14 days) and 150 euros (for mobility lasting from 15 to 30 days).

Applications to classify individuals as part of EHU’s approved group of students with fewer opportunities should be submitted via email to international@ehu.lt.

The following groups of students with fewer opportunities have been approved at EHU under the Erasmus+ program: 

·Orphans or students without parental care (up to 24 years old);

 Students with special needs that require additional costs during mobility; 

Individuals who have relocated to study from Ukraine.

The procedure for classifying an EHU community member into the group of students with fewer opportunities under the Erasmus+ program: A person is classified into such a group only upon their own request and voluntary submission of personal information when applying for financial, material, or non-material support, or for other benefits provided by the University; A Special Commission, appointed by the Rector’s order, reviews the requests, documents, and information necessary to classify a member of the University community as a student with fewer opportunities at EHU, and makes a documented decision.

Applications for the official classification of an individual into the group of students with fewer opportunities under the Erasmus+ program should be submitted via email to international@ehu.lt. The application will be reviewed, and a decision will be made no later than 7 days after the application is received.
