During the visit, she delivered a series of lectures on “Introduction to Intercultural Communication and the Representation of Lithuanian Culture.” Her expertise contributed to the academic discourse, particularly through her participation in the panel discussion on Political Sciences and International Relations: “Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Local Dynamics: Exploring Migration, Culture, and Legal Frameworks in the Context of the War in Ukraine,” where she provided essential insights with a special focus on Lithuania’s role and efforts in addressing migration issues.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Sutkutė actively promoted European Humanities University (EHU) by highlighting its academic programs and exploring new collaboration opportunities during the staff week. At the University Promo Fair, she provided valuable information to IBU students and international participants, significantly enhancing EHU’s visibility and engagement within the academic community.
Furthermore, Dr. Rūta Sutkutė was invited to a constructive meeting with Prof. Dr. Kire Sharlamanov from the Political Sciences Department. They discussed potential collaborative projects and research opportunities in political science and communication, aiming to strengthen the academic and research ties between European Humanities University and International Balkan University. This initiative highlights a commitment to fostering academic excellence and expanding international cooperation.
