The goal of the conference was to bring together researchers from the world’s leading universities and to promote the a dialogue between the Belarusian and the international economic communities.
The event was jointly organized by BEROC and the European Humanities University.
The Conference was arranged under the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
Opening the event, EHU Rector Prof. Dr. Sergei Ignatov addressed the conference participants and the audience with a welcoming speech, noting in particular:
“In current conditions, the most effective way to save and promote the development of Belarusian human capital and thus contributing to democratic transition is to provide high-quality economic and business education for Belarusian students outside the country, therefore we share this idea of uniting our resources and offering an ideology free education for the next generation.”
