EHU Class 2017 will receive diplomas on July 7

European Humanities University (EHU) invites everyone to participate in the EHU Graduation ceremony, which will take place on July 7 in St. Catherine’s Church in Vilnius. The diplomas will be bestowed to the students who successfully finished EHU undergraduate and graduate programs.

On the brink of its 25th Anniversary EHU is proud to become the Alma mater for a new generation of young professionals. EHU’s mission is more relevant today than ever before – the integration of Belarus into the European intellectual space is only possible through a qualitatively new approach to higher education. Cutting-edge research in the field of liberal arts and sciences has always distinguished EHU from other universities in Eastern Europe.

In 2017 EHU will bestow nearly 150 Bachelor’s and 40 Master’s diplomas. It will be the 9th graduation of Master’s programs and 8th graduation of Bachelor’s programs in Vilnius. Over the years of EHU’s activity in Vilnius, 1953 students – mostly Belarusians – graduated from the University.

For the second year in a row EHU Graduation ceremony will take place in the heart of Vilnius Old Town – St. Catherine’s Church (Vilniaus g. 30). The walls of the Church symbolize a bridge between Belarus’s past and future: many events of Belarusian history are linked to this place, and now for the second time the walls of St. Catherine’s Church will welcome the future leaders of Belarus.

EHU leadership, honoured guests and the winner of “EHU distinguished Alumni Award-2017” will deliver the commencement address to EHU Class 2017.

NB! The Ceremony will take place on July 7 at 1 pm.

After the Ceremony all EHU Alumni are invited to an informal Alumni Homecoming at “Pavilijonas” (Pylimo str. 21 B).

EHU academic community invites everyone to celebrate this memorable event together. Thus the Graduation ceremony is open to public. Those willing to attend the ceremony, please RSVP to andrei.khrapavitski@ehu.lt by July 4.
