University President Prof. Anatoli Mikhailov and Acting Rector Jørgen Jørgensen informed Ambassador Czubiński about the current developments that EHU has undergone recently, involving renewal of the Governing Board and General Assembly of Part-Owners membership, budgetary planning, implementation of the Core Curriculum, and preparations for the University’ institutional accreditation.
During the meeting Ambassador expressed interest in the status of International Rector’s Search, preparations for the upcoming Donors Conference, EHU’s efforts at strengthening ties with Lithuanian and regional academic counterparts, and further directions of University’s development.
According to Ambassador Czubiński: “Poland is happy to be a long-standing friend and supporter of the mission of the European Humanities University, as a member of the international donors’ community. I am happy to see interesting perspectives of development of the University presented today by Prof. Mikhailov and Mr. Jørgensen. I am looking forward University’s further efforts aimed at ensuring continuous improvement of academic quality and strengthening ties with partners across the region, including Polish universities”.
