Celebrating Achievement and Creativity: EHU Graduation Ceremony 2025

On June 27, 2025, the European Humanities University (EHU) community gathered to celebrate a significant milestone – the Graduation Ceremony – held in the historic and majestic setting of St. Catherine’s Church in Vilnius. The event honored the academic achievements of 162 graduates, now proud EHU alumni, who successfully completed their bachelor’s and master’s studies across a diverse range of programs.

This year’s ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, Mr. Rimantas Šadžius, and Representative of the European Commission (DG ENEST) Ms. Virginija Dambrauskaite, who offered warm congratulations and inspiring words to the graduates. The university also welcomed ambassadors and representatives from diplomatic missions and institutions, affirming EHU’s strong international ties in the region.

In line with EHU tradition, the ceremony opened with the singing of “Gaudeamus Igitur”, uniting the academic community in a shared expression of pride and joy. The celebration reflected the university’s values: intellectual freedom, civic engagement, and cultural expression, embodied by each graduate walking across the stage. The conferral of degrees was led by Rector Dr. Vilius Šadauskas, who personally awarded diplomas to each graduate, celebrating their academic journey and future potential. The atmosphere of the ceremony was elevated by the creative spirit of EHU students: powerful and emotive performances by students of the Theater Art and Acting program added a festive and artistic dimension to the occasion.

This year’s Graduation Ceremony can be revisited through a full video recording available on the University’s official YouTube channel, offering friends, families, and the broader EHU community an opportunity to experience the unforgettable event.

EHU proudly congratulates the Class of 2025 and looks forward to the impact its alumni will continue to make across the globe – in academia, society, creative industries, and beyond.
