The event was organized in response to the growing interest from Georgia in EHU’s academic offerings, highlighting the increasing visibility of the University’s study opportunities in the region. The goal of the meeting was to present EHU’s unique academic environment, its international profile, and the broad scope of opportunities available to students from Georgia.
During the visit, EHU representatives provided a comprehensive overview of the University’s graduate programs, highlighting interdisciplinary approaches, international study pathways, and the advantages of studying in a multicultural academic community. With students from 16 different countries, EHU offers an inclusive space where civic engagement, critical thinking, and cultural dialogue are actively promoted.
The Georgian guests were also introduced to EHU’s institutional journey and the University’s continued dedication to preserving its cultural and academic identity while expanding its presence in the broader European and international context. Discussions touched on the University’s mission, support for students from diverse backgrounds, and its role in fostering civic and academic values.
