EHU at Design Week — Welcome to the Design Inside Exhibition

From June 2 to 8, the European Humanities University takes part in Design Week — the main design event of the year — which in 2025 is dedicated to the theme of Balance. As part of the festival, EHU will present the exhibition Design Inside, showcasing final projects by students and faculty members of the Visual Design program.

Design Inside is more than an exhibition — it is a reflection on how design shapes our perception, our way of life, and our approach to everyday challenges.

Design is always a dialogue — where not only the creator’s message matters, but also society’s response. A well-crafted form becomes clear, comfortable, and reusable. That’s the balance between aesthetics and functionality: the visual side of design is not just about beauty, but about meaning, usefulness, and expressiveness.

Everything around us can become a design challenge — a button’s shape, a text layout, the organization of space. A designer can’t simply “switch off” — even in daily life, they structure chaos and search for logic and meaning within it.

The design process begins from within — with an idea, a feeling, or a thought — and gradually takes shape. Through iterations and experimentation, the internal impulse becomes an external object: a symbol, interface, or visual system. It’s a journey from inner intention to a shared visual language.

The exhibition features posters, logos, brand identities, interfaces, videos, typefaces, and visual research projects.
