EHU admits 217 BA and MA freshmen. 29% of Belarusian students will begin tuition-free studies

European Humanities University (EHU) in Vilnius has completed the main Admissions Campaign for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. 217 students will start studies in the new premises of EHU — in the former Augustinian monastery in the Vilnius Old Town. 29% of Belarusians who applied to the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs of EHU will start their studies in the fall semester of AY 2018/19 free of charge.

In the AY 2018/19, the geography of first-year students will expand: 9% of freshmen will come from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Sweden, 91% of freshmen are coming from Belarus. Traditionally, undergraduate program “Visual Design and Media” has attracted the greatest interest among the Bachelor’s prospective students: in total 68 freshmen are admitted.

As a result of the main Admissions Campaign, 24 graduates of the Foundation Year program, who had an 800-hour intensive academic preparation for applying to EHU Bachelor’s programs, enrolled at the University.

A characteristic feature of the Admissions Campaign-2018 is that the number of EHU Master’s students will increase. In AY 2018/19, 41 freshmen will study at EHU Master’s programs. 29% of EHU Master’s students are citizens of Russia and Ukraine.

Until July 23, the applications for admission to EHU Bachelor’s programs are accepted within the framework of the first stage of the General Admission to Higher Schools in Lithuania (LAMA BPO).

Until September 21, EHU opens admissions for the PhD program in the field of Philosophy.

AY 2018/19 at EHU will begin on October 1.
