Dr. V. Šadauskas observes that the traditional concept of leadership as power and status is fading, giving way to more inclusive, community-oriented, and responsible models of leadership. According to the Rector, this trend is not a sign of avoiding responsibility—it reflects new expectations and values.
“Young people want to change the world, but without formal epaulettes. They choose action over title,” says the Rector.
As an institution that fosters critical thinking and is sensitive to the future of the region, EHU aims to be at the epicenter of this leadership shift. Here, young people learn not only to make decisions, but also to work in teams, build emotional resilience, and create positive change in society.
