The German Academic Scholarship Foundation is inviting EHU students to take part in the International Academy of the Studienstiftung

A Cooperation Project of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes) with Vilnius University and the European Humanities University, Vilnius

The German Academic Scholarship Foundation is inviting EHU students to take part in the International Academy of the Studienstiftung in Vilnius from 29th July – 7th August 2024. The Summer Academy will not only offer a rich academic syllabus, but also a myriad of opportunities for cultural, artistic, and athletic activities, social interaction, and networking among a select group of highly motivated students.

As a participant at the Academy, you will be studying in a group of highly motivated students, in a course taught by internationally renowned scholars. You will benefit from the rich academic, social, athletic, and cultural activities the Academy has to offer. You will be able to forge connections with one of the leading academic foundations in Europe and expand your personal, international network, as the Academy will bring together students and scholars from Vilnius, Germany, Switzerland, and the US. Not least of all, as a participant at the Academy, you can look forward to one and a half weeks of inspiring academic exchange, interacting with exciting people – and simply a lot of fun.

Students from the European Humanities University in Vilnius can participate in the Academy free of charge.

The Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes – German Academic Scholarship Foundation – is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious academic foundation in Germany awarding scholarships to exceptionally gifted students. The Studienstiftung currently supports around 13,900 students and 1,400 doctoral candidates, with approximately 2,000 new students and 280 doctoral candidates admitted every year. Scholarships of the Studienstiftung are awarded to outstanding students irrespective of their political, ideological, or religious convictions and affiliations.
