EHU announces the opening of a new student dormitory

Starting from October 1, 2023, the new student dormitory of the European Humanities University will open its doors.

This newly established dormitory, specially adapted based on a three-star hotel concept, is located at Sausio 13-osios g. 2, 04343 Vilnius. It boasts a high level of comfort and modern amenities that EHU students will be able to fully utilize for their living, learning, and relaxation needs.

Dr. Vilius Šadauskas, Chancellor of EHU, emphasized the significance of the new student dormitory:

“We firmly believe that comfortable and pleasant living conditions play a vital role in successful education. The new student dormitory, designed with care and attention, offers more than just a cozy place to live – it provides an environment conducive to effective learning and comprehensive relaxation. We understand that a high level of comfort helps students concentrate on their studies and achieve their goals. Prioritizing students’ well-being is always at the heart of our efforts, and this new dormitory stands as a bright testament to this approach. We hope this place will become a second home for our students, where they can not only thrive academically but also create unforgettable memories and lasting friendships.”

The triple occupancy rooms are equipped with private showers and toilets, as well as functional storage areas for personal belongings, cooking facilities, spaces for laundry, and drying clothes, and designated areas for self-study.

Residing in the dormitory guarantees students a residential declaration, which is important for residency applications.

Convenient transportation options allow students to reach the University quickly and easily, and the dormitory’s proximity to stores such as Maxima, Lidl, Norfa, and other significant social infrastructure enhances its appeal.

The cost of accommodation in a triple room is 220 euros per month per spot; this amount already includes utilities and internet access.

Special attention will be given to individuals in need of social support (financial hardship, additional medical needs, loss of a breadwinner, etc.) when allocating dormitory spaces.
