Applicants should be ready to start on October 1st, 2023.

The University offers a competitive salary for each position (Professor – up to 2449 EUR, Associate professor – up to 1884 EUR, Lecturer (PhD) – up to 1694 EUR, Lecturer – up to 1507 EUR, Assistant – up to 1319 EUR with taxes). The University has an integrated personnel management system, thus motivational measures are applied depending on the achieved results.

Applicants should provide:

  • A free-form application to participate in the competition specifying position, profile/topic;
  • Curriculum Vitae;
  • Copies of documents, confirming the granting of scientific, academic degree;
  • List of publications in the approved form or a description of creative/artistic activities for the last 5 years;
  • List of publications in the approved form after the defence of the doctoral thesis;
  • Action plan 2023–2028: detailed for 1-3 years, general for 4-5 years, including:

– priority directions of research, with explanations of their connection with the EHU mission;
– planned publications (if possible, title and status of work) and target journals/publishing houses;
– planned projects and their connection with EHU mission;
– planned participation in conferences;
– planned cooperation with other universities;
– planned cooperation with an NGOs or business;
– planned administrative duties;
– training plan (titles of courses).
