EHU and KAS publish a second collection of the political science graduates works

Thanks to the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) the second issue of the collection of the European Humanities University (EHU) political science graduates’ works  “Politics and Society in Belarus” was published. Editors of the collection: Dr. Uladzislau Ivanou, Assoc. Prof. Andrei Stsiapanau, and Dr. Tatsiana Chiulitskaya.

The collection is dedicated to the social problematics and political economy of Belarus. The collection features four papers by EHU political sciences alumni, namely Katsiaryna Andronava’s paper “Structure of Political Participation in Belarus”, Aliaksandr Autushka-Sikorski’s paper “External Rents, Macroeconomic Populism, and Regime Survival in Contemporary Belarus”, Alena Zhebrik’s “Election Observation in Belarus: Analysis of Genesis, Substance, and Functions”, as well as Yana Ustsinenka’s paper “The Relationship Between Civic Organizations and and the State in the Belarusian Higher Education Policy: Are Changes Possible?”.

The papers of EHU Alumni are based on the outcomes of the research, conducted within their respective Bachelor’s and Master’s theses. The collection is available in English and Belarusian.

Faculty and alumni are planning to issue one more work collection of works. Authors and editors express their gratitude for support of the project to Dr. Wolfgang Sender, Head of the KAS Belarus Country Office.
