How much does tuition cost?
You can find the tuition fees for all programs in the “Tuition Fees” section.
Are there any grants?
For talented and gifted applicants, the University offers a grant system awarded based on the Freshman Portfolio Competition. If you have achievements in academics, creativity, research, or social activities, you have a chance to receive a grant and study for free.
📌 Grants are awarded every semester, so you can continuously improve your portfolio and influence your tuition fee.
📌 Grants are available for all EHU programs, except for those offered at branch campuses.
How to compete for a grant?
After signing the tuition agreement and paying for the first semester, freshmen can apply for the grant competition. To participate, you need to prepare and upload your portfolio, which consists of two parts:
✅ Achievements and/or Work Samples
This section showcases your talents and potential. The following may be included:
- Olympiad diplomas, awards from competitions, conferences.
- Participation in research, social, or creative projects.
- Publications in academic journals, collections, professional or popular media.
- Creative works: audiovisual projects, literary works, design projects, and other forms of expression.
- Certificates, awards, school medals, etc.
📌 The University does not limit the format of your achievements – showcase your best work!
✅ Motivation Letter
A brief (up to one A4 page) statement explaining how your achievements and experience align with EHU’s mission. Your text should be clear and well-reasoned—this is your opportunity to demonstrate why you deserve the grant.
📌 The University’s mission is outlined in the EHU Strategy 2019–2024, available on the website in the “Documents” section.
💡 If you win a grant, your first semester payment will not be lost—you can choose to have the amount refunded or “frozen” for future tuition payments if the grant support ends.
📢 Your talent is your chance to study for free at EHU!
