Webinar “Person-Centered and Non-Violent Communication: Intersubjectivity in Progress”

On April 21, the Center for Research of Intersubjectivity and Interpersonal Communication of the European Humanities University (EHU) organizes a webinar on the topic of “Person-Centered and Non-Violent Communication: Intersubjectivity in Progress”. The keynote will be delivered by the guest speaker Dr. Geert Franzenburg (University of Münster, Germany).

The webinar emphasizes a particular kind of communication, which demonstrates the process of intersubjectivity in a transcultural framework. It emphasizes the chances and challenges of different kinds and aspects of dialogue (language, encounter, rules, spirituality, creativity, competencies, context, content, traditions, self-esteem, empathy, compassion, consistency channels, remembrance, reconciliation), and suggests strategies for intersubjective dialogue-training.

The guest speaker Dr. Geert Franzenburg teaches a course in Practical Theology and Religious Education at the University of Münster in Germany and is concerned with issues of communication, remembrance and resilience in his work as a theologian, historian, counselor, religious and pastoral psychologist, and adult educator.

Professor of the Department of Social Sciences of EHU Tatiana Shchyttsova will make comments on the keynote. This will be followed by a general discussion.

NB! The webinar will be held in English on April 21, at 4 PM (Lithuanian time) via Zoom platform. Registration via the link is necessary for participation in the event.
