“Access to medicine in pandemic times: What’s law got to do with it?” webinar with Neada Mullalli

On June 11, the European Humanities University (EHU) invites prospective students of the “International Law and European Union Law” study program to a webinar “Access to medicine in pandemic times: What’s law got to do with it?”. The webinar will be conducted by Neada Mullalli of the EHU Department of Social Sciences.

The webinar will discuss how patent law facilitates access to medicine and critical medical equipment, in times of national or global health emergencies. Neada Mullalli will provide an overview of compulsory licensing provisions and their role in light of the approval of a COVID-19 vaccine, drug, or diagnostic method.
