OPEN CALL: Summer School “Platformization of Politics in Non-Democracies: Belarus in the 2020s in Comparative Perspective”

The DAAD Go East Summer School at the European Humanities University in Vilnius, taking place in August 2023, will explore the platformization of politics in non-democracies, with a focus on the case of Belarus in 2020-2021.

Students will work with lecturers and tutors with the expertise in the theme of the Summer School, will gain knowledge in AI powered analysis of social media platforms, will be steered in development of their own projects, participate in cultural programs in Vilnius and Kaunas and receive 3 ECTS credit points.

The language of the summer school is English, and applications are accepted from practitioners and students of various fields.

The participation fee ranges from 75 to 500 euros, depending on the applicant’s status. Stipends are available to students of German Universities and Universities taking part in Experimental Humanities Collaborative Network (OSUN).
