Location: LITEXPO, Project Area
“Me and Othrs” is a thought-provoking performance inspired by Peter Weiss’s play “Marat/Sade,” exploring the essence of individuality and community. It delves into the collision of bodies in motion, the dynamics of mass and crowds, and the intricate relationships between leaders and followers within the performance space. Can a crowd absorb an individual by stifling their will and intentions or empower someone by magnifying their trivial desires? In these times, where the struggle between dictatorship and democracy is most apparent, we often label dictators as mad, but when the mob itself is in chaos, can those who oppose it be any different?
