Lithuanian state scholarships for Master degree studies
Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania takes pleasure in offering Lithuanian state scholarships for Master degree studies, applying for AY 2016/2017. Traditionally 2-3 Master students of European Humanities University (EHU) receive prestigious Lithuanian state scholarship that consists of full tuition fee waiver and monthly stipend of 380 Euros.
NB! Only nationals of Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and People’s Republic of China as well as foreigners of Lithuanian origin are eligible for scholarship. Application deadline: July 10.
During admissions to one of EHU Master degree programs “Cultural Studies”, “Historical and cultural heritage”, “Public Policy” and “Existential psychology” nationals of the aforementioned countries, who are already graduates of their respective first-cycle (Bachelor degree) studies are welcome to apply for the scholarship.
Application procedure
Applications must be submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania in person, by mail (egle.fiseraite @ smm.lt) or through diplomatic representation of the Republic of Lithuania in a foreign country. The commission formed by the Minister of Education and Science will examine the applications received before July 10.

Required documents:
1. a copy of the identity document;
2. the following copies certified by the procedure established by the laws:
a. a document certifying completed education of a higher education institution or adequate education (diploma and enclosure therefore) and its translation into Lithuanian, English or Russian. If a foreigner completed the first-cycle studies, but no certificate (diploma and enclosure thereto) was issued to him/her, he/she can submit a certificate of a higher education institution based in a foreign country, which must specify the study programme completed, courses or modules passed, their credits and assessments, assessment of the final examination or theme of the final project and its assessment, and its translation into Lithuanian, English or Russian;
b. a document certifying the level of the study language command:
i. a copy of the document issued by a competent institution (for EHU Bachelor graduates – by Core Curriculum Center), certifying the minimum B2 level of study language command according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or a copy of TOEFL IBT certificate (minimum assessment is 72 points), a copy of TOEFL Paper certificate (minimum assessment is 484 points), or a copy of IELTS certificate (minimum assessment is 5 points)
3. documents certifying achievements in research (artistic) activities:published research articles and their translations into Lithuanian, English or Russian;
– certificates on speeches delivered at scientific conferences and their translations into Lithuanian, English or Russian;
a. artistic activity folder, if a foreigner will study in the field of art, in Lithuanian, English or Russian;
4. motivational letter in Lithuanian, English or Russian;
5. recommendation (recommendations) in Lithuanian, English or Russian;
6. a copy of the confirmation issued by EHU that the foreigner was admitted or is studying in the second-cycle full-time study programme, with indication of the foreigner’s name, surname, study programme, which the foreigner studies, and state code, foreigner’s study period;
7. contact details – address in the country of origin, e-mail address, phone number, Skype username.
Financial conditions
All approved candidates will receive a monthly stipend of 380 Euros for the whole duration of the studies. Benefit to cover the study price will be offered only for the nationals from Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and foreign citizens of the Lithuanian origin.
